Supporting Families from First Inquiry to First Day
At Tender Tree Montessori, our enrollment process is designed to be clear, supportive, and respectful of each family’s needs. Whether you are new to licensed childcare or transitioning from another program, we work with families to ensure a smooth and positive start.
Step 1: Inquiry
Families are invited to contact us by phone or email to inquire about availability, programs, schedules, and care options. This initial conversation allows us to understand your family’s needs and answer any questions you may have.
Step 2: Tour (Strongly Encouraged, Not Required)
We strongly encourage families to schedule a tour before enrolling. Tours provide an opportunity to:

Step 3: Schedule Selection & Funding Review
Families select care schedules based on their needs. All enrolled families are eligible for the Alberta Child Care Affordability Grant, which helps reduce monthly fees.
The Affordability Grant is automatically applied once your child’s enrolment forms are completed and submitted—no additional application is required.

Step 4: Enrolment application
Once space becomes available and your family is ready to proceed, you will be invited to return to this page and click on the Enrolment Package below.

Enrolment is confirmed once all required forms have been completed and formally accepted by the program.
Step 5: Transition & Start Date
Each child’s transition is thoughtfully planned to support emotional well-being and adjustment.
Transitions are individualized and planned in partnership with families. Parents are encouraged to share routines, comfort strategies, and preferences to support a successful start.
